Carly Verkerk-Wassenaar earned her diploma at the Theatre School (Amsterdam School of the Arts) where she studied Jazz and Musical Dance.
After completing her training, she danced in Paris for three years with Rick Odums International Jazz Dance Company. Carly has continued her training in workshops in New York and also danced at Jacobs Pillow in Massachusetts.
She worked with toddlers at a crèche in Amsterdam and inspired by this work in combination with her background in dance, she started ‘DansPeuterDans’ in 2007. Afterwards she initiated Dans Kleuter Dans and Damoves by Carly.
